QUEENIE'S STORY

Hello Darling, I'm Queenie (AKA Carinna- but don't call me that, it doesn't really feel like me!)

I've adored all things vintage ever since I was a little girl, with a particular love of 40's & 50's style and 50's & 60's music.

​

I had my two wonderful sons very young and worked very hard to build a career in sales and recruitment. But I still always dreamt of a world where I could be 100% me, stop the professional front in the corporate world, and live a vintage reality bringing vintage joy to others.

One day in 2018 I decided to take the leap. I bought the most beautiful vintage caravan I could find and set about creating Queenie's Travelling Teapot and Tipple Spot.

​

The business was officially born in April 2019 once I had completed Orla's conversion to a tearoom.

​

After leaving my career to make a success of my dream, when wedding enquiries and event bookings started to flood in I was faced with the callenge of the covid-19 pandemic.

​

I adapted, overcame, and here we are!
